Media Responsibility

Tonight on EWTN a graphic came up during Benedict Groeschel's program regarding the "The Holy Father's Intentions for the month of September."

I've never seen this announcement on EWTN before.

The first intention:
"That those who use the media for social communication would do so responsibly."
(I love blogging about media responsibility, more on this to come.)

Second Intention:
"That formation in missionary countries would become permanent."

And reading between the lines, this is what I come up with:

You in the media, wise up. You caused this middle east stir. You in the tough areas of the world, the Church is there to stay. We're not abandoning you and those who don't want us can't put us down. (At least, this is what we should pray for, since these are his intentions.)

Hey Matt,

Just surfed onto your blog looking for info about the trad world in the Scranton area. My husband and I are moving up there and just trying to get a feel for the area.

I saw on your profile that you are a member of Phi Mu Alpha...were you a music major?

Also....Emma Kirkby...heavenly!! She is wonderful isn't she?

Thanks
Jamie
