As if there weren't enough problems in Scranton...

Its not like there weren't enough problems in the Scranton Diocese right? Now a cell phone company is in the mix with a potential law suit. Here's the story:

Nextel and Diocese Working to Avoid Lawsuit

A cell phone company may sue the Diocese of Scranton. The company put antennas on top of a Catholic elementary school in Jessup, but the antennas have not been powered up because parents think they are a health hazard.

A spokesman from Nextel said the company is trying everything to avoid a lawsuit against the church. But the bottom line is the cell phone company spent time and money putting the cell antennas up and the company expects the parish to honor the contract.
