When and if you vote today...

... consider who and what you are voting for.

Regarding Barrack Obama... (My Emphasis)

From Human Events:
-----
In 2002, as an Illinois legislator, Obama voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortions. That same year a similar federal law, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, was signed by President Bush. Only 15 members of the U.S. House opposed it, and it passed the Senate unanimously on a voice vote.
-----
Jill Stanek, a registered delivery-ward nurse who was the prime mover behind the legislation after she witnessed aborted babies’ being born alive and left to die, testified twice before Obama in support of the Induced Infant Liability Act bills. She also testified before the U.S. Congress in support of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act.

Stanek told me her testimony “did not faze” Obama.

Now for those of you that think this is a rare occurrence comes an article from the UK, where this is becoming somewhat of an issue. May God forbid this sort of attitude here. This is exactly what OBAMA SUPPORTS.

66 British Babies Survived Abortion - All Were Left to Die Without Medical Aid

By Hilary White

LONDON, February 4, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In line with similar revelations in Canada and the US as well as previous UK reports, a government report has shown that babies who survive abortion attempts in the UK are often left to die. According to the fine print of a government report, at least 66 infants survived NHS-funded abortion attempts in one year alone.

According to the report, by the Confidential Enquiry into Maternal and Child Health (CEMACH), about half of the surviving children lived for an hour, while one survived ten hours breathing unaided.

Under current British law, a child can be aborted up to 24 weeks gestation if there are no "abnormalities" detected. A child judged to be abnormal may be legally killed up to the time of natural birth.

In Britain, the report shows that once a child slated for death by abortion is born alive, no medical help is offered him. On the contrary, guidelines from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists offered doctors the recommendation that babies over 22 weeks old who survive abortion be killed by lethal injection.

From a similar story...from This is London.Uk
Much of the opening in the story is the same, so I will post the crazy part.

Couple's despair after daughter survives abortion at five months

A baby born alive after a botched abortion at 21 weeks is among the worst cases reported in the UK.

The little girl, who had Down's Syndrome, lived for three hours after being delivered.

Her parents claim they were "coerced" into a termination by staff at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

They were later told that their baby had not "really" been alive, even though she was clearly breathing.

The couple, who do not wish to be named, already had a toddler, a teenager and a 12-year-old with learning difficulties and felt unable to cope with another special needs child.

The 44-year-old mother said: "If I had been given any idea that the baby would be born alive after an abortion I would never have gone through with it. They coerced me.

"I have seen how society treats children with disabilities and it frightened me to bring another special needs child into the world, but somehow we would have coped with it."

Two days before the abortion in March 2004, the woman was given tablets which she was told would kill the baby in the womb.

But to their distress the baby was still clearly moving.

They went back to hospital and were assured that the baby would die during labour.

Soon after birth, however, both parents saw it gasping for air.

Is this coming together, putting aside our differences, blah blah, all that stupid nonsense? Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood wanted to put aside our differences too by supporting Hitler and putting abortion clinics in poor neighborhoods to get rid of minorities.

I think this clearly distinguishes the difference between just how radically liberal Obama is versus what even the middle-of-the-road liberal voter would expect. It even gives a reason to support Hillary over him (strange as it may seem).

This is a further exemplification of how lack of respect for life is such a slippery slope... what started out (and is still touted) as a right that women have to privacy without regard to the rights of another human being... descends more and more into lack of regard for any human life, separate from the woman or not... this is state-sanctioned infanticide, after all.

We need to be very clear as Catholic voters about what the non-negotiables are for moral voting. Sanctity of life is at the top (see Pope Benedict XVI's Papal Non-negotiables)!
