Comparative Religion...

Floorplan of the Temple in Jerusalem. Of course, our churches take their basic plans from this because it is how God wanted it. We continue it today.

The Forbidden City, where the Emperor was worshiped as the "Son of Heaven". Right idea, wrong God. Nevertheless isn't it interesting that how somehow mankind, even in error, was drawn to build such similar buildings. The Church teaches us that all truth found outside the Church is nevertheless from God and is meant as a preparation for the Gospel.

Right everything. The square at St. Peter's basilica has the "open arms of Peter" which symbolizes the welcoming of all. But we still have the inner sanctuary, tabernacle, court, etc.
