Stolen Tabernacle FOUND

Deo Gratias!

The stolen tabernacle, previously mentioned here, has been found. Great news for this Christmas season. There is apparently no word on whether the tabernacle had the Eucharist in it or not.

Read story here from WNEP-16

From WNEP.com:

A tabernacle that was stolen from a chapel in Schuylkill County has been found.

The tabernacle, which held a chalice with the Holy Eucharist inside it, was stolen from Saint Casimir's in Shenandoah earlier this month.

Former Mayor Jack Thomas said the police chief found the tabernacle in the woods and reported it is in good shape.

A $1,500 reward was being offered for information leading to the return of the tabernacle. There is no word yet if anyone will get the reward.
