Just Came in the Mail

A 1964 edition of The Roman Breviary in English from eBay.  The thing is incredible.  It contains the complete 1962 Breviarium Romanum translated into English and approved by the hierarchy.  It is very well used but nothing a little rebinding won’t take care of.  I got quite a deal on it too.  It pays to watch eBay for good buys.  At 7.25 x 4.5 it fits in my Liturgy of the Hours case from Catholic Book Publishing Co.

I'm holding out for the Baronius Press 3-vol. Breviary. A number of times I've had to resist the urge to purchase a Diurnale Romanum.

This purchase was definitely spontaneous buy. But it really is fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing Baronius' edition and I still may purchase that one too. In fact I probably will considering how long I have been waiting. Thanks for the comment!
