Pray for Belmont Abbey College

The Government is forces the school to violate Catholic teaching by making them provide insurance that covers contraceptives. They claim it discriminates against women because only women use oral contraceptives. This us a canard. Men medically contracept too, it's called a vasectomy. I bet they didn't cover that either.

So, correct the discrimination by favoring women, getting an additional benefit? But, again, not all women.

You see, my employer took the opposite attitude from the EEOC, one against benefits that could not be universally applied or claimed.

So, therefore, no vision coverage because not everyone needs glasses.

Basically, a position is decided and reasons are used to buttress that position ... this is backwards but easier and easier to do.

I agree, prayers are needed.

I think there are multiple solutions to the problem, like the one you mentioned. Another one is to fight a legal battle.

Eh, in trying to be "fair," my employer's insurance coverage neglected to treat genuine illness, that of subscribers with vision problems.

Of course, we know the old argument that fertility is not an illness.
